COMPUTER USE
Civic Center (Main) Library : As of October 2009, adults & teens now have free access to 40 computers with high-speed Internet and Office software on the 2nd floor, with staff available for assistance and information. There are 6 Internet computers available in the Children’s Room for users under age 14.
The Mission Branch Library has 21 computers for all ages. The Bookmobile offers 4 PCs for adults and children.
All computers at these locations are on a first-come, first-served basis, with daily time limits. No reservations are available.
- There are no fees for computer time or access.
- All Library computers have Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, MS Office (word processing, etc.), and access to Library research databases (most also available at RESEARCH FROM HOME).
- The Library maintains no individual e-mail accounts. However, e-mail is available through free e-mail services on the World Wide Web.
- Printing is available for 10˘ per page. Users are responsible for all pages they print—please ask staff for help!
- Additional computers for children offer learning games and software for younger users, without Internet access.

Free Wi-Fi access for patrons with their own laptops, etc., is offered at Civic Center (Main) Library and Mission Branch Library.
CLASSES
Free training classes are taught at the Mission Branch Library by staff or volunteers on various topics, including basic skills for beginners. Classes are announced as they are available and are first-come, first-served. Please call 760-435-5650 for more details.
